Welcome to Five Ferns Rabbitry
Being a dyed in the wool fibreholic, I look for ways to increase and support my love of fibres. When it came time to expand my animal menagerie, I chose an animal that is cute, cuddly and a renewable source of fibre.
My first choice was none other than English Angora rabbits. They have such a gentle demeanor, loved to be handled and about 4 times a year provide me with an abundance of gorgeous fibre.
When I held my first angora bunny, I was smitten. These beautiful creatures have turned into more than mere fibre producers. They have become beloved family pets.
While my first thought for these animals was to produce great woolers and pets, I have since decided to improve my lines as I am interested in showing my rabbits. My goal is to produce the best possible examples of these lovely creatures.
